This will be my space to focus on short stories.  Hope to keep pace with Dieter at 300 stories. Maybe together we can create something of a mystical place, where stories become a foundation of worlds.

I too enjoy Edgar Allen Poe, Phillip K. Dick. Others whom I enjoy are Charles Dickens, Sydney Sheldon, Eric Lustbader, Richard Bach. Not much of a fan of many contemporary folks.

Once moons ago, thought myself a writer. Somewhere this got lost. It seems Dieter in giving himself a challenge, walked over and tossed a gauntlet down in front of me.

I do not see this as a competition per say. It is more of a friendly “hey man, you used to write but don’t now. What’s your excuse old guy?” chuckling And so, I’ll try to come up with a 300 word story each day.

This in the long run will help me get back into the habit of writing. Hopefully, it will help us both as writers and continue what seems to be the beginnings of a chain reaction.

N.B.  No disrespect in choosing to use the same WP template for this blog. It simply is a nice looking theme, which by example works well. Figured as it does work, no need to reinvent a wheel.
